From Juliet: Originally, I just wanted to read cool poems and talk about why they’re cool. But it was decided that this theme was too vague. So I decided to shift it to my fav poetry movement, Confessional Poetry. We’ll talk about the movement, but mostly we’ll just read confessional poems and talk about why they are good/cool, featuring my bros Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton, Robert Lowell, and more. I’ll send out a PDF of poems before the event.
