Such a great convo! Laura has had such an interesting life, and her perspective on gender especially as it relates to childhood trauma is so fascinating. Taylor's a great interviewer too!

This was truly a rare treat. Taylor's keen intellect and wit were put to rare use in this sublime interview with Laura Albert. Truly wonderful to hear Laura work with an interviewer able to keep up and make best use of their conversation. I can only hope readers find this piece and are reminded of what we are missing in a world that has been without the release of a long form Laura Albert work. Laura's genius is rare and on display here. I can truthfully say this review made my day.

Such a great example of how encompassing your artistic vision is when you are speaking with a serious writer who is not a pea brain. It reminds me of the difficulty one has in describing a soap bubble in the sunlight. On one hand the seemingly impossible phenomenon of the bubble oscillating in response to the breeze but missing the miraculous iridescence of the dynamic ever changing colors on the surface. To experience the bubble, one has to put both together. The interview synthesized all your psychic elements into one beautiful entity. Loved it.
